On 7 December 2018, Home Building Finance Ireland (HBFI) was incorporated pursuant to the Home Building Finance Ireland Act 2018. HBFI is a designated activity company under the Companies Act 2014. The issued share capital of HBFI is owned solely by the Minister for Finance.
